The coffee itself is a very authentic representation of Sumatran coffee as a whole, being a wet-hulled coffee with many defining characteristics of a wet-hulled Sumatran coffee. Expect a more spiced and fermented taste with this blend, with a more earthy, mossy, and winey flavor profile than most other coffees. In the cafe, we’ve had a few folks say this coffee tastes more savory to them, with a tomato-like essence but still maintaining a very low acidity. We roast this coffee two different ways, one lighter and one just past first crack into “dark” territory, then blend those together to get the best this coffee has to offer at both ends of the roasting spectrum.
This coffee will be available for a limited time only, so grab a bag while you can.
